Description
- ORBIT range's new generation of tiltable line arrays features an omnidirectional and tiltable radiation pattern, completely redesigned to meet the highest architectural demands and equipped to handle the current and future requirements of the voice alarm, commercial audio, and pro-sound industry.
- Each omnidirectional ORBIT array has a tightly controlled beam that can be shaped as needed for applications or specific environments requiring symmetrical or asymmetrical, single, double, or triple lobe designs where the ORBIT can be freely suspended in the middle of the event.
- The availability of high-power audio DSP devices, such as analog devices, makes it possible to provide 24 channels of powerful processing leading to precise beam control and even signal pattern within 3 dB at a 100 m radius in a 360-degree wave.
- Features:
- Especially designed for high-quality voice and background music applications in reverberant acoustic environments where meeting contractual speech intelligibility requirements is challenging.
- Tightly controlled beam, up to 3 degrees, that can be shaped in nine steps to meet each specific application or environment.
- Asymmetric and symmetric arrangement through software control.
- Integrated DSP control with 7-band parametric equalizer, noise gate, delay rooms, peak limiter, VOX control on priority input, and level-microphone for ambient noise detection.
- Adaptable ACOUSTIC center. The acoustic center can be freely moved along the array to match the lobe shape with the listening area.
- Equipped for voice evacuation applications.
- 24 VDC input for battery backup, 20 kHz input monitoring.
- Internal surveillance by HF carrier loudspeaker.
- Ambient noise sensor. Frost protection temperature sensor.
- Battery monitoring. Fault reporting contacts.
- TCP/IP remote link and RS485 data bus for full and detailed status report and PC-based remote configuration (up to 32 Messengers on bus).
- EASE DLL and CATT DLL, for advanced room acoustic simulations.
- SPL is maintained within a variation of +/- 2 dB at a distance of at least 60 m.
- Models:
- ORBIT M - 3 rows of 12 speakers - 1003 mm 90 dB at 10 m circle
- ORBIT L - 3 rows of 18 speakers - 1390 mm 90 dB at 15 m circle
