- Compatible with the Boutique system, the wall-mountable CD-8DF and CD-16DF megaphone consoles with 8/16 keys and EVAC buttons are designed with a high-strength IP30 metal enclosure encapsulated with a lockable cover. The 8/16 keys can be configured to act as individual or group zone selection, event activation, recording, message playback button, and more. All settings are configured through the web browser. The talk button can also be programmed for PTT (Push-To-Talk) or lock mode. Additionally, they are equipped with a firefighter microphone and an evacuation button.
- Up to 16 megaphone consoles can be connected to BTQ-SL8 and 32 to BTQ-VM4/VM8/SG8; wiring can be in a daisy-chain or redundant loop. The maximum communication cable length between the controller/secondary units and the megaphone consoles is 250 m (820 feet) via shielded RJ45 connector CAT5/6 STP cable. CD-8DF and CD-16DF are also eco-friendly products with extremely low power consumption (1.5 W) during standby mode.
