DIVA-8SG2 is an extension unit for the DIVA-8MG2 controller. It increases the number of public address zones by 8 zones for each secondary unit added to the system. Up to 15 secondary units can be connected to the DIVA-8MG2 controller on the local network. A complete DIVA system provides up to 128 zones (A/B).
DIVA-8SG2 handles the same 1000 W capacity as the DIVA-8MG2 controller (at 100 V) on each amplifier channel (music + voice). The individual music or voice channel or both channels can be manually/automatically routed to zones by configuring the DIVA software. For maximum flexibility, connected amplifiers can distribute their power across multiple slave units or additional amplifier channels can be added to the system to assist where more output power is needed. The 100 V amplifier signal simply links to the secondary to create a 100 V signal bus.
DIVA equipment is compatible with most elements of the IDA system (DPAfour amplifiers, SONAES auxiliary power, PSS-AS and PPM8 consoles, etc.).
