Compatible with the Boutique system, the wall-mountable PA consoles CD-8DF and CD-16DF with 8/16 zone selection and EVAC buttons are designed with a high-strength IP30 metal enclosure encapsulated with a lockable cover. The 8/16 keys can be configured to act as individual or group zone selection, event activation, recording, message playback button, etc. All settings are configured via a web browser. The talk button can also be programmed for PTT (Push-To-Talk) or lock mode. Additionally, they are equipped with a firefighter microphone and an evacuation button.
Up to 16 PA consoles can be connected to BTQ-SL8 and 32 to BTQ-VM4/VM8/SG8; wiring can be in a daisy-chain or redundant loop. The maximum communication cable length between the primary controller and secondary units to the PA consoles is 250 m (820 ft) through shielded STP CAT5/6 cable with an RJ45 connector. CD-8DF and CD-16DF are also eco-friendly products with extremely low power consumption (1.5 W) during standby mode.
