Description

The secondary processor IDA8SL hosts advanced digital audio signal processing (DSP), matrix control function,
and a digital message player, along with amplifier monitoring with hot-swappable amplifiers and low-impedance line supervision.
It can support up to two monitored microphone consoles PSS-AS, up to four monitored amplifiers
plus a backup amplifier and public address system in 4 different zones per unit with line detection. Each input and
output channel is equipped with a wide range of pre and post-processing devices, such as volume controllers, mixers, and routing switches, priority and paging components, equalizers, compressors, limiters, and delay lines.<<<<

The IDA8SL secondary units provide an extension of the IDA8 system configuration with 4 additional output zones and 1 line for backup amplifier. Digital messaging can be stored on the unit for live or scheduled playback. Files can be uploaded in G.711, G.722, G.726, G.727, and WAV formats from a computer using the ATEÏS Studio system GUI. Multiple messages can be played simultaneously: up to 4 from a single IDA8SL or a total of 48
message channels across a complete IDA8 system with slaves.

IDA8SL is easily configured with the ATEÏS Studio global software based on a PC. Once programmed, the system will run
independently without a connected PC. The IDA8SL slave operates with 110 VAC or 230 VAC mains power
or with a 24 V DC power supply for emergency backup, with automatic switching. Both power sources
are monitored.
