Vox@PBC is a wall-mount IP speaker with an open back that incorporates an IP audio decoder for RTP or UDP streams. It supports MP3, PCM, SPEEX, or G.711 codecs and VoIP call via SIP protocol.
A potentiometer located on the speaker's front panel allows adjusting the music transmission output gain. The gain control will not be operational when a priority call is being transmitted on the network. The message will be transmitted at a predefined level. Minimum and maximum levels are set via the speaker's integrated web page.
Vox@PBC also allows broadcasting embedded messages. This functionality can be activated through a contact or a command. It can be controlled with Vox@net g2.
