PMIP-K4/K8 is an IP public address system console specially designed for IP audio applications. It can be used with or without the Vox@net audio server software.
It comes with 4/8 buttons and an XLR5 connector for an optional flexible or handheld microphone. Each button is made of hardened plastic to be resistant to sustained use and can be assigned to a zone, message, or other functionality. An optional metal plate allows adjusting the console's tilt while securing the cables.
The device is equipped with a standard RJ45 Ethernet interface that allows the unit to connect directly to the network.
An integrated web browser interface allows simplified control and programming of the public address console.
The DSP-based architecture allows for managing new codecs.
The SIP protocol enables the public address console to be compatible with digital telephony standards.
Contact inputs can be programmed as a logic, selector, or analog mode for action activation, source selection, or gain adjustment. The relay outputs are fully programmable and can be managed locally or through a VNB control protocol.
Furthermore, using the Vox@net audio server software allows the PMIP-K4/K8 to behave as a client.
