The PSS localization console allows call localization, message transmission, and control of DSP matrix parameters through a secure (supervised) bus. The full-color backlit touch screen is designed for simple and easy operation, offering a total of 168 software keys across 14 pages for zone or group selection.

Each key contains a color-changing field indicating that the zone is occupied by a different process. All public address system parameters for site operation can be preprogrammed, such as zone assignment, naming, grouping of different buttons, message activation, level control, pre-call tone setting. The message and tone can also be stored in the PSS. Additionally, fader control, button control, and event control can be preconfigured.

The range of ATEÏS security systems meets current architectural demands requiring IP and/or fiber optic networks to adapt to any possible PA/VA design as established in EN54-16, ISO 7240-16, and BS5839/8, with specific attributes for compliance in large facilities.

There are two versions of PSS-G2 with identical hardware and functionality but different firmware:

- PSS-G2: complies with EN54-16 - compatible with PRIMA VA and DIVA systems.
- PSS-G2E: does not comply with EN54-16, can be powered by Ethernet - compatible with DIVA systems.
